The Silver Tree Society was created to honor donors who have chosen to leave a legacy to the Johnson County Library Foundation through planned giving or a deferred gift. Members of the Silver Tree Society will be publicly acknowledged for their vision to support the Library for generations to come.

Planned Giving Options
Wills
You may make a bequest of:

Life Insurance
You may designate the JCPL Foundation as a beneficiary on your insurance policy or transfer the policy outright.
Individual Retirement Accounts
You may designate the JCPL Foundation as a beneficiary of a portion or all of your account.
Trusts
A trust may be established to benefit the JCPL Foundation now or at a later time.
Annuities
You may make an outright gift to the JCPL Foundation and receive annuity payments until a specified time in the future.
Restricted or Unrestricted
Unrestricted gifts allow the Johnson County Public Library to grow endowment funds and quickly respond to the changing needs of the Library. Restricted gifts may be accepted if they are consistent with the mission of the Johnson County Public Library Foundation.
