Improving Johnson County's Libraries
About the Campaign
Libraries are a community’s great equalizer, drawing together families from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, faiths and socio-economic statuses to strengthen the bonds of community. They are essential community centers.
JCPL is building a new Clark Pleasant Branch in Whiteland, Indiana to address the needs of our growing community. The JCPL Foundation developed a special projects campaign to furnish interior spaces with state-of-the-art technology and equipment and to construct an exterior space that promotes art, health and nature for our community members. The construction of the building is fully funded through library bonds and cash reserves.
